March 2007February Meeting ReportThe Chamber met on February 20th at the Rescue Squad Building. President Patti Throckmorton called the meeting to order. After a meal of ÒComfort FoodÓ prepared by the members, she introduced the delegation from Historic Buckingham. Lynn Henshaw, Nancy Faxon, who came in period costume and Martha Louis presented a DVD presentation on the Historic Village and future plans. Joe & Mary Gemski had the Chamber Scrapbook on hand and are requesting any pictures of items pertaining to the Chamber. Patti Throckmorton gave an update on the BNN. Everyone is invited to the next event, which will be Game Night at the Catholic Church of the Nativity on Route 60. All are invited to attend on Friday, March 16 @ 7pm & bring a Board or Card game of choice and a snack to share. Under their by-laws they welcome any resident of the county. Only people living here for five years or less may hold an office. All events will be advertised in The Beacon, The Cumberland Bulletin & The Herald.
