Farmer's Market Grand Opening

Congratulations to Marty & Randy Martin on the Grand Opening of the Market.

The Chamber received lots of positive comments on the market and the vendors, the CrimeSolvers cake auction, the music and the fireworks.

Thank you letters went out to the 14 cake bakers, to Bill Talbert, auctioneer and his assistant Johnny Harris, also to Calvin Bachrach of C&C Motors for the Cash for CrimeSolvers sign that he donated.

14 Cakes brought in $455 for CrimeSolvers! Glo Bracelets & the 50/50 drawing brought in $252.

Thanks to Margaret Taylor & all the members who sold bracelets to help pay for the band.

Did you hear the one about the man who listened to his motivational tapes backwards & became a failure?

May Meeting to be a working meeting.

Put on your thinking cap! The Chamber will meet on Tuesday, May 18 at the Rescue Squad building at 6:30 pm.

One of the main problems we encounter with so may things taking place in our county is the ability to make the public aware of & interested in our projects.

Please give this problem some thought & come armed with 3 suggestions on how we can expand and improve our Farmers' Market.

Did you know?
May is International Bluegrass Month!

Mark your calendar now for the Annual Chamber Family Picnic - July 15th.

Know of a business that would like to connect with other businesses in the county? Tell them about the Chamber. It's a great way to network, it's not expensive & we have a light meal at every meeting!
