Just What is "Spring Fling"

Spring Fling is a cooperative event that you can use to advertise your business or products of your business. It takes place during the 1st week of April. Your can advertise in the Farmville Herald & the Free News. A 4" Square ad will cost you only $45 in the 4 page color pull out section of both papers. You may buy more than 1 square. This size ad placed on your own would cost you approximately $70. This year WBNN - Big Country is offering 2 for the price of one. For every 2 ads run during Spring Fling Week, you will only pay for one. If you haven't been using radio advertising, now would be a good chance to try it out.

You can also put a box in your location & let people put in their name & phone number. The Chamber will give away $100 in gasoline to the lucky winner. You will need to get the sign-up sheets into Western Auto no later than 3pm on April 5th.

Is there any catch? Well, you must be a Chamber member & you must take the time to drop off or fax your print ad to Melissa at Moss Motor and also to call Jennifer at WBNN to schedule your ads. Need help? These girls are willing to help with copy or layout.

Deadline is March 21st - so make your decision today to increase your profits tomorrow.

Surveys Have Slowed!

When the Guidebooks first came out, we had quite a few surveys returned to us. (These surveys are on pages 3 & 4 of the Guidebook.) During the 1st 2 weeks of April, we'll being doing a big push to get more participation. (Several of our members have not gotten their surveys in yet.) Deadline is April 15th and we will be drawing 1 survey & rewarding the person who filled it out with a check for $100. If you would like to copy the survey & have it for your customers, or if you need more Guidebooks, just call the Chamber Hotline at 983-2372.
