November Meeting Report

The monthly meeting was held on Nov 19, 2002 at Heritage Hall.

The Dillwyn Christmas Parade was discussed. The Chamber donated $100 for sponsorship of this event.

Gun raffle tickets were distributed at the meeting and also by AtWork Personnel to different businesses. This is our main fund-raiser of the year, with proceeds going towards our January meeting.

It was decided to limit the new awards to only one for Volunteer of the Year in 2003 and to work on criteria for other awards that we would like to give in the future.

Following our meal, our speaker was Ben Johnson, CPA offering us information on Year End Tax Preparation.
